City of Ithaca

Active Transportation Network Project

The City of Ithaca is beginning a project to plan and design the City of Ithaca Active Transportation Network. The multi-street network will provide safe and efficient cycling infrastructure as well as pedestrian, transit, and ADA accessibility improvements.

The project follows the “Better Bike Network” planning study sponsored by Bike Walk Tompkins. The Active Transportation Network will provide planning and community outreach to refine network recommendations, as well as full construction documents for corridors and intersection improvements selected to advance through implementation.

CTLA will provide landscape architectural and public outreach support to the consultant team led by Sam Schwartz.
